Hope Trees.

Each experience is uniquely personal.

Each person’s encounter with cancer is purely their own— the ugly, the healing, the recovery and the loss. We are all affected differently and become a new person after having lived through the experience, as are those who have lost someone to this horrendous disease. I have experienced both.

Drawing these Trees originated as a way for me to process and emotionally navigate my pain and frustration and so many other feelings impossible to put into words.

My intention in sharing my drawings is aimed at helping those going through one of the many phases of their cancer journey as a symbolic reaching out of a hand from someone who knows the grueling passage of cancer trials.

Each Hope Tree is unique and very specific to the individual and their loved ones.

In Creating a personalized healing memento, I Strive to design as meaningful a token of hope as it gives back to me the same hope that we all can help one another to mend in our way and in our own time. There is life beyond cancer.
